Construction Management and Testing is a crucial part of our work at A.I.C.E. Consulting.

We ensure that every execution phase of a construction project or building intervention is carried out guaranteeing the highest quality and safety thanks to management, control, and supervision activities implemented through construction management.

On-site, our team takes care of everything: from supervision to organization, constantly monitoring the progress of the works and coordinating the activities.

Construction Management

The Construction management is a crucial service. We ensure that every phase of construction complies with the designs and regulations, guaranteeing the highest quality and safety. Our team manages the construction process with precision, constantly monitoring progress and coordinating on-site activities.

The construction management office is composed of:

Works Director:Coordinates and supervises all site activities and is the main point of contact with the contractor.
Site Supervisors: Oversee the execution of the works, carry out technical and accounting checks.
Site Inspectors: Monitor the works daily, performing inspections and measurements.

Testing and Commissioning

Testing and commissioning is essential to ensure that construction works meet the required specifications.

We offer two types of testing:

Structural Testing:Verifies the strength and stability of the structure to ensure it can withstand the expected forces and stresses. This testing can be carried out at any stage of construction and ensures that the work is safe and compliant with regulations.
Technical-Administrative Testing:Focused on compliance with technical and administrative aspects, this testing verifies that the work complies with the final design and regulations. It is mandatory for public works and, in some cases, for private works, and is carried out only after the completion of the work.

Safety Coordination during Execution

We ensure that during the construction phase, all executing companies strictly follow the indications of the Safety and Coordination Plan. (PSC). The Safety Coordinator during Execution (CSE) updates and modifies the safety plan based on the evolution of the works and changes in the site organization. This process allows us to manage every safety aspect and prevent risks throughout the entire construction cycle.

As-Built Documentation

We create “As-Built” drawings (fundamental documentation showing the final state of a construction) to document the final state of the construction, reflecting all the modifications and variations made during the works compared to the initial drawings. This process is fundamental in order to have a precise and detailed representation of the completed work, ensuring that all changes are well documented.

Technical Consultations and Post-Contract Award Services (PCAS)

We offer a comprehensive technical consultation service, integrating expertise across various sectors to ensure that projects are completed to high quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Our consultations include:

Feasibility Studies: Preliminary analyses to evaluate project viability.
Technical Due Diligence: In-depth assessments for acquisitions and real estate developments.
Surveys and Investigations of Existing Buildings: Detailed analyses of existing structures.
Energy Consumption Consulting: Solutions to optimize energy consumption.

We also manage Post-Contract Award Services (PCAS), ensuring that all parties comply with contractual obligations through continuous supervision, constant communication, and the timely resolution of any issues.

Some examples of PCAS services requested during the works include: technical advice for resolving questions arising during construction by providing technical solutions, quality reviews of equipment/material technical data sheets and construction drawings (submittals), inspections, etc.
